Dear Roosevelt Families, 

 I am excited to get the year started and welcome you back to Roosevelt!  I am elated to be your new principal and I look forward to meeting each of you. My favorite thing about being a school administrator is learning about the students and families I serve.   

I hope everyone had a relaxing summer filled with quality family time.  I know I did and I am ready to hit the ground running.   I have met many new friends so far and feel blessed to work in such a great place as PCPS.  

For those of you who I have not yet met, I want to share a little about myself.  I grew up in Perry and later went to NOC to be a Roustabout. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from UCO and went on to get my Master’s in Curriculum & Supervision at the University of Oklahoma. 

I have a wonderful husband, Jason, who works for Central Technology Vocational Center.  We have three amazing children: Anna who is 13, William who is 11, and Grayson is my 2-year-old.  They keep me pretty busy but in my spare time, I enjoy running, working with the youth and vestry, and singing at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.  This summer we spent most of our time in the pool, and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. 

Again, I am thrilled to be a Wildcat!  I understand that I will have some big shoes to fill, but I am confident that with your help, we will have a fantastic and productive year.  We have the best staff in the state and we will continue to make Roosevelt a kind, engaging, and safe environment in which all students can thrive and strive towards great expectations.
