Special Education Legislative Summit 2023
The Special Education Legislative Summit (SELS) is a joint activity organized by the Council for Exceptional Children and the Council of Administrators of Special Education held in Washington, D.C. The summit is an opportunity for educators and leaders in the field to come together to learn more about advocacy and meet with representatives and their staff members to advocate for change. Amy Swartz, Director of Special Services for PCPS, attended the summit with other special education directors and advocates from school districts across Oklahoma.
