DECA students attend Fall Leadership Conference
Ponca City DECA Chapter recently attended the Oklahoma Fall Leadership Conference and DECA Aim For Glass Conference in Norman. Students had the opportunity to enhance learning skills through networking, workshops and community service. Leadership is something students build over time and these high school leaders learned more about how to assemble the tools they need to grow and achieve their goals. DECA students spend 2 days attending leadership workshops. In addition, DECA officers attended the AIM for Glass Conference which was designed to help enhance the competition areas available to members in DECA. Officers pictured include:

DECA Advisor Heather Monks said that these student leaders are an exceptional example of students at Ponca City High School. The workshops enhanced their leadership skills and skills they can use no matter what careers they chose one day.
