Farha Sponsors Woodlands Dictionaries
Every year the Rotary Club presents dictionaries to all third-grade students in Kay County. Students love receiving and using the dictionaries. Rotarian Edwina Wynn visited Woodlands’ assembly to present dictionaries to Ashley Magnus’ and Jana Wilburn’s third graders. The dictionary program was begun many years ago by Rotarian Ralph Beaty. Since the inception of the program, Mr. Beaty visited Woodlands every year to help present the dictionaries. Ralph passed away earlier this year. Woodlands held a special place in his heart, as his children attended Woodlands. Ralph’s granddaughter and Farha representative, Kaity Beaty, helped Mrs. Wynn present the dictionaries. Beginning this year and every year hereafter, Farha Wholesale is sponsoring the Woodlands third-grade dictionaries in honor of Ralph. Woodlands appreciates the Rotary Club’s commitment to this program. We also appreciate all Ralph has done for the school through the years, and Farha Wholesales desire to continue his legacy.
