PCPS employee Jordan Jackson Gross is presenting on the successes of building a strong community internship program at the Oklahoma State School Board Association. Currently, Po-Hi partners with over 100 businesses and students in paid and unpaid internships.
The internship program is a joint effort with Ponca City Development Authority and Ponca City Public Schools. To date Jordan has helped over 350 students in the past few years with connecting to local business and
industry. The Ponca City model she has helped create has been showcased around Oklahoma as a model of innovation and service in public schools. This program would not be successful without the assistance and support from PCDA.
