Attention Ponca City Public Schools students and parents who are interested in the 2025 summer driver’s education program.
Drivers Education Applications Opens April 16th at 8:00 AM
Application window will open on April 16, 2025, at 8:00 A.M. in the PowerSchool student and parent portal.
For directions on accessing the application in the PowerSchool Parent Portal, directions are below.
- Mobile App- You will select the correct child (if applicable) and then select more on the bottom right. You will then see “forms”. Select forms and then you will see the driver’s education application. If it is not there, make sure the dropdown box says “general forms”.
- Computer-Sign in to your PowerSchool Parent portal and select the appropriate child. On the left-hand side of your screen, you will see the “forms” button. Select this and then select the Driver’s Education Application.

The class is limited to 40 students in the 2025 session.
Per state requirements, students must be 15 years of age by the start of the program. A photo of the student birth certificate must be provided in the application process.
Students will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis, based on application submission date/time.
If accepted, the cost of the program is $225.00 per student. Payment will be due on April 30, 2025. A limited number of scholarships will be available, if needed. Eligibility for scholarships will be based upon financial need.
Accepted applicants will be notified via email the week of April 21st, 2025.
The summer course will begin May 19, 2025, and end June 30, 2025. Students must complete 30 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of individual driving instruction.
