The OSSAA District Choir Contest is a rigorous event that evaluates choirs based on their performance and sight-reading skills. In the performance segment, choirs are assessed on their execution of prepared pieces, which must be performed from memory for vocal ensembles. The sight-reading portion tests their ability to interpret and perform unfamiliar music, showcasing their musical literacy and adaptability.
“We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding performances and positive representation of PCPS values” said Katie Nichols. “Their success is a testament to their passion for music and the support of music by their parents, school district, and community.”
