Wednesday is Leadership Ponca City’s Education Day. PCPS Superintendent Adam Leaming is serving as Day Chair. The day began with the morning assembly at Roosevelt Elementary. Leadership participants then visited the Board of Education where Leaming discussed policy issues impacting education in Ponca City and the state of common education. The group will also tour the Anderson STEM, baseball and indoor facility. Private schools in the area were also invited to a panel for discussion about private education. The group will also tour the University Center and Northern Oklahoma College to discuss higher education options in the community.
