Wildcat of the Week Landrie Linder

This week’s Wildcat of the Week at Ponca City High School for the 2023-2024 school year is senior Landrie Linder, a student who excels in the classroom and on the field.

Landrie is currently a lieutenant for the Po-Hi Steppers, where she has been a member for the past four years. As a lieutenant, she is responsible for leading and training the other members of the drill team. She also has been an active member with the Po-Hi tennis team for the last for years of high school. Kristin Smith, Hi-Steppers coach, said, “Landrie is a wonderful young lady who is a joy to coach. She is a lieutenant on the team and is a leader in every way. She expects excellence from herself and others.”

In addition to her excellence as a leader in the Steppers, Landrie is a talented student. She currently is enrolled in college concurrent enrollment courses through the OSU Cowboy Concurrent Online program. She plans to attend Oklahoma State University after high school and has consistently earned high marks each semester in her coursework.

Adam Leaming, PCPS Superintendent, said, “Landrie was selected as the Wildcat of the Week for her academic excellence, her dedication to the Po-Hi Steppers, and her commitment to her education. She is a role model for her classmates and an inspiration to the entire Po-Hi community.”

PCPS is excited to have Landrie selected as the first 2023 Wildcat of the Month. Congratulations, Landrie!
