Wildcats to Play NW Classen
The Ponca City Wildcats will take on the NW Classen Knights on Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. at Taft Stadium, 2501 North May Avenue, in Oklahoma City.
The Wildcats are 4-4 on the season. The Cats lost their first four games of the season to Guthrie, Enid, Sand Springs and Deer Creek. They have since won their last four conference games against Lawton, Putnam City North, Putnam City and Capitol Hill (4-1 in district play). The Cats will wrap up regular season play next Friday at home against Choctaw.
The Knights bring in a record of 1-7. They have losses against US Grant, Mount St. Mary, Classen SAS, Putnam City North, Lawton, Choctaw and Deer Creek. The single win came on Sept. 22 against Capitol Hill.
