Day 1 of the 98th Oklahoma State FFA convention: Students attended the first general session and then explored the expo. Ponca City FFA was then awarded a $1,000 check from Blue & Gold Sausage Co. for being the Top Selling Single Teacher FFA Chapter in the state. Students sold a total of 13,538 total packages of sausage, bacon and chicken! The students sold 5,566 more packages of product than the next closest FFA chapter! Rounding out day 1, students will be attending the Wyatt Flores concert.
