Final distribution date announced!
Cat Tale Yearbooks are being distributed Saturday, August 17 from 8-10:00 AM at the PoHi teachers’ lot on 5th Street.
Bring your ID for pick up; a limited number of extra yearbooks are available FCFS for $75.
Yearbooks that aren't picked up by the first day of school will be available in room 303 of the Howell Building beginning August 26.
There was an error on the Pre-School Meeting Calendar. The start time for the Professional Development Day on August 15 is 8 a.m.
It’s time to call transportation to make sure your student is added to the bus route.
Please call transportation at 580-767-8088. Hours are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Our external fiber provider is out impacting several educational entities across north-central Oklahoma. It is a fiber issue. PCPS and other schools and businesses have been impacted. This includes emails and telephones.

Registration will reopen on August 12th. Our hours will be from 8:00 to 4:00 daily until school starts except for August 16th. We will open on the 16th from 1:00 to 4:00 so staff can attend the staff breakfast and assembly.
The transfer meeting will happen on August 7th and parents will be notified in an email if they were given the transfer.
Cell Phone Use Reminder!!
Parents, Students and Staff:
Cell phones are NOT permitted during class time. Students and staff can use their phones before/after school, during lunch, or during break periods. Cell phones should be put away during classroom time.
In regards to the upcoming immunization clinics at enrollment, the Kay County Health Department cannot provide free shots to students whose parents have private insurance. Those parents will need to go to their doctor or a pharmacy.
Immunization clinics will be held on July 18 AND 25 from 1 to 6 p.m. at 111 West Grand.
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year continues!! In-person registration is being held at the Registration Center at 111 West Grand. Parents/guardians can also register their students completely online this year on PowerSchool. The clock is ticking!! Classes start August 21!
We need address verification for elementary students before enrollment can be completed. Parents can upload proof of residency through the Parent Portal or by coming to the Registration Center at 111 W. Grand.

The Registration Center will open July 8-11, 22-25 and July 29-31 for on-site registration. The Registration Center is closed on Fridays in July.

Due to the threat of severe weather today, the spring football game has been moved from 6 to 4 PM at Sullins Stadium.
A reminder for our high school seniors in regards to wearing tribal regalia at graduation.
Policy 7.22 - 4.0 - Tribal Regalia
Students enrolled in the Ponca City Public School district are permitted to wear tribal regalia during the school’s official graduation ceremonies, whether held at a public or private location.
Tribal regalia is defined as traditional garments, jewelry, other adornments such as an eagle feather, an eagle plume, a beaded cap, a stole, or similar objects of cultural and religious significance worn by members of a federally recognized Indian tribe or the tribe of another county.
Tribal regalia does not include any firearm or other weapon. Tribal regalia does not include any object that is otherwise prohibited by federal law, except in compliance with an appropriate federal permit.
