Wednesday, April 10 and Wednesday, April 17 are Distance Learning days for Freshman, Sophomores and Seniors. Only Juniors will report to campus those days for their state testing.


Junior state testing begins this week! All Juniors will take the ACT on Wednesday, April 10. Virtual and Po-Hi Juniors will test on the Po-Hi campus. Wildcat Academy and SHARE Juniors will test on the Wildcat Academy campus. All Juniors should bring their Chromebooks, CHARGER, a calculator and a picture ID (school ID or driver's license) with them. Test room rosters are posted at the Junior's school site.

Prom and After-Prom will be held on Saturday, April 20. The Prom will be held from 7-10 PM with the Grand March at 6 PM at the Marland Mansion. Tickets are being sold during lunches through TOMORROW!!!

Congratulations to Coach Richard Agee for being named the East All-State Girls Wrestling Coach.


The West Middle School Student Council will host a dance on April 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is $5 with a student ID or four canned food items plus a $1 admission fee with student ID.


A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 5 p.m. for the renovated Po-Hi baseball complex. Admission will be free to the baseball game!


School will NOT be in session Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 22 for Spring Break. Classes will resume on Monday, March 25.


Bands in Review concert this Thursday, Feb. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Ponca City Schools Concert Hall. Come on out and enjoy a night of great music with our Ponca City Bands.


Orchestras in Review will be held tonight in the Ponca City Schools Concert Hall. Fifth and sixth grades, philharmonic and symphony orchestras will perform at 7 p.m. The seventh and eighth grades, philharmonic and symphony orchestras will perform at 7:30 p.m. There will be a brief intermission between concerts. The event is free to the public.


We are critically low on bus drivers for PCPS due to illnesses and emergencies. Please make sure you download our app, check our website and social media platforms DAILY if we have to cancel or disrupt bus routes due to a lack of drivers.

Phillips66 has donated $1 million to Ponca City Public Schools as part of a community initiative grant. The money will be used to support PCPS’s ambitious STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) facility on the high school campus. It is the single largest donation in history for PCPS.
A press conference has been scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at 3:45 p.m. at the Anderson building at the high school to announce the details of the project.


The three site finalists for District Teacher of the Year have been announced. The third finalist is Mike Arnold from East Middle School.
